Airline Pilot Found Dead outside Saint Louis Residence

A body has been found outside of Court Street Apartments in South Saint Louis on the morning of February 23. The body was that of a 52-year-old Bob Simmons, the Saint Louis County Medical Examiner determined Tuesday.
The Saint Louis County Sheriff’s Office is waiting on word from the medical examiner on the cause and manner of death before confirming whether foul play was involved, though severe dismemberment was reported on the scene, stated Capt. Hunter Seagrass.
The Man's body was found inside a dumpster on the north wall of Court Street Apt. around 8:30 a.m., the sheriff’s office said. Officials have released information that the body was severely mutilated and dismembered. The official's office has not released additional details as the investigation continues.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking for any information regarding those in close proximity to Court Street on the morning and days prior to February 23, 2002.
